Step Up Transformer Help Needed

Hello,
I'd appreciate any advice you have for me.
I'm looking at buying a new SUT. I intend to buy a new ZYX Cart 0.24mV. My current cart is a Benz MicroGold 0.5mV .
My SUT has a ratio 1:16 on the low gain and 1:32 on high gain.
I prefer the sound using the low gain.
My questions are:
1. At the same preamp settings should I expect the volume to be less with the Zyx?
2. If so, what ratio for the Zyx should I need to help produce the same volume as the Benz ?
3. Can I assume all SUT's with ratio 1:16 create the same volume gain?
4. Is it possible for a SUT with lower ratio to produce a the same volume
volume as another of higher ratio? Are other factors at work here?

Thx so much for your help.
Bob
