After having read all the posts in this thread I can't help but laugh. My Dad was CIA from the mid 50's to early 80's (and yes, he was undercover-a
SPY!- for eleven years) and if you guys had any inkling of what sort of people many of them were you wouldn't be nearly so paranoid. A lot of them were far more liberal and decent than you might imagine and while coming from a time when obedience and belief in government were the norm, many of them also had their blinkers torn off by the events called life.
Some of the people are just like Dick Cheney, but many of them are also like good old Dad. I have a feeling that's what keeps us from crumbling as a society.
I'm more worried about the people on the road than I am about the government. They're far more dangerous and twice as stupid.
Having said that, there are the Dick Cheney's of the world and they need to be chopped up into little pieces and fed to ravenous hamsters.
