Wendell I am afraid you are right about that. Audiogon is what it is...a cyber store for many of the remaining brick and mortar dealers.
It also attracts hackers, scammers, etc who see the huge prices some equipment sells for, and requiring a credit card on file will attract even more of them.
The owners must be making enough money to generally ignore folks who don't like the way they do business.
