I hope this is the right forum, it seems like inmates often have a vent about eBay here. n fact I had formed an opinon that paypal was v ery protetive of the buyer, from reading some posts here.
I bought a pair of quad esl63's (I hope the link below works) on eBay here is Australia. They are described as one makes a noise and one works well, and at least one needs a repair. When I got them, they were both stuffed= panels had deglued.I have been arging with the seller for some time and opened a payal dispute yesterday. I argued that "one speaker works well" was clearly stated, but paypal has accepted the seller's argument that at least one speaker needs a repair as grounds to let her off.
I am pretty didgusted and it looks like this is their final decision. I would be interested to hear from anyone else who has a problem like this
