The teens, 20's, 30's, and 40's audiophiles of today are hanging out over at headfi and other headphone-related sites, not here. "High-Performance Audio" may not be as popular as it once was but it has not died so much as it has been transformed. Transformed into something less obtrusive and less recognizable to old geezers, that is.The High-Performance Audio guys of yesteryear who grew up with bulky, room-filling stereo systems instead of earbuds and tiny pocket-sized communications devices tend not to like the idea of hi-end headphone audio very much. Accordingly, they haven't paid much attention to what has been going on. High-performance headphone audio is now being embraced on a worldwide level.
