as to which set they prefer, the old or new. I'd bet on the Bose. I bought some QC15s last week after my trusty old Koss set died and I have to say that the quiet from noise cancelling is really nice. I'll probably take them back and get the QC25s though. With these you don't hear anything without a battery in it for noise cancelling. The 25s at least work without the cancelling feature active should you get tired of replacing batteries. Never did I imagine I would own anything Bose but for listening while on the computer or late night tv I think they'll work great. I've gone into Bose stores twice in my life just to see what it was about and left both times just cringing so this really surprises me.
