I used to prowl a series of record shops after cd's started getting big; most notably a northwest chain called Golden Oldies. Bought many records for as little as 50 cents each. People were unloading them by the boxcars. Resellers had a steady market of low-end shoppers like me who knew full well that most of that music was not going to be rescribed into digits. Gone vinyl = gone music.
So now I have a large vinyl collection and most always listen to cd's. Duh.
