I found myself in the Chicagoland area last Saturday, and Brian Walsh (of Essential Audio) did a specatcular demo of the Soundlab U-1PX's being driven by Atma-Sphere monoblocks (MA-2) for me that blew my socks off!

I had the same enjoyable experience last month. Business brought me to downtown Chicago for a couple of days, so one evening I hopped the train to visit. I was treated to quite a nice collection of musical pieces via his server - along with some wonderful local pizza! While I also have U-1s, mine do not have the current PX panels and don't have the same bass projection. He's able to get darn loud levels out of his system with the Atma-Sphere electronics.

The new listening room upstairs is a wonderful new space as I had visited him years ago when Dr. West attended the local audio society meeting.
