General audio topics that don't fit into specific categories.

When I close my eyes at a live acoustic concert, the instruments sound much larger than they are.

The largest image I've heard live with my eyes closed was a little tiny triangle which was monstrously gigantic. I find that pianos, voices and bass drums to be considerably larger live with my eyes closed than with my eyes open. I believe it is my eyes watching the instruments play that causes my mind to shrink the sound waves of each instrument to match their visual size.

Next time you hear acoustic live music, try it for yourself by closing your eyes.
