Than the apparent size of the soundstage of any concert I've ever attended? No.
On the other hand, when a voice is so closely miked that their lips are given the same sonic space in the recording as a piano, there is naturally going to be an issue with perspective. Maybe those engineers like them the size of a football field. :)
My systems are not optimized for those poor examples. Listening "down" to the music with speakers that radiate at the three foot level never sound convincingly real to me. I confess that I find tall line sources more realistic sounding using a broad range of recordings than are small point sources.
