Money back guarantees should be for defective products only.
If you purchase a $5,000 amp on line and it operates functionally as designed , returning it because you cannot truly get the feeling of the airspace in the hall like you could with several other $5,000 on-line amps you also just ordered and returned should not be a "guarantee".
There is shipping, shipping damage, inability to sell the returned goods at full price, overhead dealing with returns, etc.
If you are willing to pay $6,000 for the $5,000 amp to get the in-home evaluation benefit, it may work. Bankrupting the distributer is a bad way to conduct home auditions. IMO.
