What to do with broken receiver?

I have a Yamaha A/V receiver purchased about 6 to 8 years ago. This was their top of the line A/V receiver at the time. Long story short, a couple years ago, the subwoofer connection and two rear channels went out. I took it in to a local authorized repair shop, and the diagnose was that the main broad needed to be replaced and of course, Yamaha is out of parts. So this thing is now a sitting boat anchor. I would hate to throw it to the dumpster. Any suggestions as what I might do with it? Wife wants it out of the garage....
