All of it was send via FedEx. Items under $250 attracted no attention for Federal or state authorities. Items above will need an FCC form it they send or receive radio signals, e.g. tuners, receivers. US residents should NOT count on a "Made in U.S.A." label to avoid paying duty -- nor for that matter, a "Made in Canada" label, (supposed NAFTA exemption) -- it ain't that simple it seems.
Accuphase being the high-ticket items they are, picking it up in person sounds like a good idea if practical. The $800 personal exception might apply, but the FCC form (if relevant) and duty above the amount will presumably apply.
