I used a lowly Panasonic Lumix ZS19 travel zoom camera...... I did see a lot of high-end cameras at the show..... I'm sure once those photos are brought on line, my pics will look ordinary by comparison............ But I'll enjoy the accolades for now....... [-;
What enabled the ZS19 to take decent photos is its superlative image stabilization. Enabled shutter speeds as slow as 1/2 second without shake blur. Kept the aperture wide open, and the ISO as low as possible. (I used a Canon S95 last year, and while the camera took had less noise at higher ISOs, the image stabilization wasn't nearly as good, so I couldn't slow down the shutter like with the ZS19.)
