So, your expectations would be out-of-whack.....It is not a mid-fi show. They do not have mid-end gear there. But from his pics, - I did see a fair amount of low priced, high-end equipment.
Manufacturers are interested in showing off their BEST, - not their trickle down.Why you attend, is to see their best. If you like that, there is a good chance that you will like their "take" on good sound, and perhaps they will make a product that you can afford. And, you also go to garner experiences to nail down what you like, and what you don't. What applications and combinations of equipment and accessories fit your tastes, room, and world view.
