If I biamp a source vertically, where do I split the signal? I won't initially use an active crossover, so I'm thinking of using a Y-splitter between the source (CD) and the signal is split between the main amp and the subwoofer amp.Three questions:
1. I'm wondering if the signal might travel through each amp at a different rate and emerge out of time with one another. Is that a possibility? or am I worrying too much?
2. Another concern I have is the loss of signal. I assume that the Y-splitter will reduce the signal coming from the CD.
3. Would it be better to split the signal between a pre-amp and the power amp stages? If so, why?
