Yet more from CES

And today's winner for the "Best Dressed" of the show goes to EveAnna Manley:

The sound in the Manley room was terrific with Coincidence Victory speakers driven my Manley's Snapper Amps and Wave Preamp/DAC combo. You'll also see the VPI 5 HR table and the Steelhead phono preamp.

Nelson Pass shown with his new XA160 and XA 200 amps (160 & 200 wpc) wins the most comfortable shoe award.

Stephaen and I were both quite impressed with Nelson's new speaker, dubbed the Pass Rushmore.

Another great sounding speaker system was the Impact Airfoil 5 ($32K). It uses a patented mylar driver from 170 Hz on up.

Brian Cheney could not be found as he was over at the Convention Center for the announcement of the Best Sound of the Show from TechTV. For the second year in a row, VPMS was a finalist.

The VPMS RM/X "Elixir" shown above has a brand new cabinet that is absolutely stunning and beautifully finished with 7 coats of high gloss black automotive paint. At 72" and over 350 pounds, the RM/X beats Brian in both categories and is priced at $9,800/pr.
