The suggestions below are nice and I'm sure well intentioned, but I wouldn't recommend listening to any really good songs right now, because
they will remind you of her when you hear them in the future, and you won't like them anymore.
Buy the amp, if you don't like it, you can easily sell it without a loss.
Distracting yourself from the pain with material things is classic denial. Glad to see you're one of the guys. Do it buddy !
