static infection

then I was getting clicks and pops throughout all the sources,

the only thing to remedy the situation was to leave the DAC playing,

I bought the DAC used, it had the static problem when I first bought it but then it went away, I recently switched the laptops and that was when it started.

sounds like static clicks, almost like a vinyl record. thankfully it is gone now after having the dac on for awhile, I tried rebooting, tried shutting it on and off, not sure but it seemed to have cured itself after playing for about an hour after I stopped fiddling around with it.

maybe it is gremlins, or something, very strange.
