Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

I have a history, of calling a spade a spade? ;-)

Of course the microRendu is based on a SolidRun designed processor board. The periphery which resides on the microRendu board is John's design. I'm sure it contributes to it's overall performance but the "core" of most of these streamers are not designed by the audio manufacturers.

Yes, I have a history of proving this over and over again. They're called computers, most running some Linux distro. Remember that battle? ;-)

Many source off the shelf micro-ATX motherboards, some are beginning to use Raspberry Pi, others have used Intel NUC. SolidRun happens to supply very small ARM Cortex-A9 processor boards to various manufacturers, not just the audio guys.

And of course I realize there's more too it with custom software, features, and packaging.
