Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Because you have a history of claiming that different configs

Are the same, or produce the same results.

Of course the SonicOrbiter device is the same hardware as the Solid-Run QuBox.

I was not aware that the uRendu was a 2 board product. I looked over the Solid-Run site and there was not a board that had 1 microSD slot & just one USB port & 1 network port. So there may indeed be a second board in the uRendu. Interested to see the pics.

Of course, file processing is not the only factor in SQ, so I'm sure that "John's board" if one can call it that, - may possibly be the thing that really separates out the uRendu and makes it a much better sounding device than the QuBox based SonicOrbiter.

While totally true that the SonicOrbiter's hardware is based on the QuBox design, - the OS plays an important role here. And of course, it is a stretch to say that using a Solid-Run processor board in the design means that the entire microRendu is "based" on the Solid-Run product.

For entertainment they watch his body twist
Behind his eyes he says, 'I still exist.'"
