I got the transport from the original owner, and he says it has very low miles. Given the pristine condition of it, I can believe it. Hopefully that means the laser is in good condition. From the limited amount I know (at the moment), I gather the laser could have been miss-adjusted and over driven, but hopefully that is not the case. With any luck, it is a tired / dead capacitor or one of the manual adjustments has drifted over time and needs to be changed / corrected.
