I havent heard the Naim CD3.5 + Pathos Classic on the Signum but I suspect this combo has the potential to sound too agressive and in your face. The nimble and lively Signum is better served with warmer and more laidback sounding electronics like the CJ stuff. But right, the CJ DV2b + CAV50 maybe too relaxed and laidback. Maybe the more balanced approach would be Naim CD3.5/Flatcap (or Naim CDX) + CJ CAV50, or CJ DV-2b (or Meridian 508.24) + Pathos Classic.As for the Evo 2000 hybrid integrated ... I dunno anything about it. But the last CJ Evo hybrid power amp that I heard sounded more like CJ's MF series ss power amps than their tubed counterparts.
