I tried some video cables, (1506a and 1694a) terminated w/ Canare 75 ohm RCA's between my Amp and pre-amp. IT sounded pretty damn good.
AMP - Quicksilver M60 mono blocks
Pre - Audible Illusions modulus 3.
Speaker Cables 89259CC
I was told the amp has a high impedance, could this explain it?I thought this was not supposed to happen. And on THOSE cables. Actually the 1694a was more musical than the 1506a. THey made the PBJ's sound very very flat and muffled. (no disrespect intended)
CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN THIS - IT'S GOT ME BAFFLED!
I plan on putting Cardas on those cables as well as on the reference 89259. That'll probably be tomorrow.Mitch
