This is your second shot at Virtuoso; maybe I should pay heed. The first time you will only willing to say it was "long in the tooth," if I remember rightly. When I bought the SW, around 5 years ago, it beat out a lot of other cables based mainly on its openness from top to bottom. But I agree that times have changed. I have replaced my Virtuoso interconnects with SPM but haven't gotten to the speaker wire yet; was hoping to put it off a while longer -- hence my willingness to try the 'knife tweak.' So, we'll see. I plan to use speaker cable as 'the final tweak.' Thanks for your well meant (and second) wake up call.
