Hi - Apologies if this is a dumb question. Im a beginner.
I bought my parents a Dual 1225 turntable as a xmas present and didnt realise it had a 5 pin din cable. My own turntable has RCA and works a treat.
I plugged it into the phono in on my JVC CD 4 amp (had to flick tape switch to make any sound come out) and the music that it produced was low volume no matter how high i turned it up.
My parents have a modern amp, so I will need to ensure it converts to RCA somehow. Is it as easy as getting a 5 pin din to RCA cord and it will be fully amplified, or do I need to get a pre amp (hope not) ?
I have two months to get it sorted - help!
Thanks
Richard
