Home Cable Asylum

Interconnects, speaker wire, power cords. Ask the Cable Guys.

Built my own DIY cable with NeoTech components.

My parts came in today and I built a new power cable for my BAT VK-30 preamp.

Neotech NC-P313 Rhodium AC plug
Neotech NC-P303 Rhoduim IEC plug
Neotech NEP-3002 MKIII AC cable.

These are nice quality cable and plugs. Immediately I heard a slightly wider soundstage than my other DIY cable but this one is more quiet due to the shielding it has.

The Plugs are nice and I'm happy with how they made it easy for me to put the cable together. No issues at all. One thing I like that they are a lot less expensive than the Furutech and Oyaide Rhodium plugs.

It now only has 6 hours on it but it's getting better and better by the hour.

I'm glad I purchased these parts from Neotech. Now to build another for the DAC, power amp, and Headphone amp. :)
