That finding has been consistent when used with various components IME, but high current applications tend to benefit the most from that type of sonic signature, and it's one reason why I built a DIY Flavor 4 for my stereo subwoofer system featuring an outboard Bryston stereo power amplifier, including the affordability of a 9 foot run, which allowed the bulk of my audio dollars for the DIY project to be allocated towards terminating the DIY Flavor 4 with premium Oyaide 004 Beryllium AC connectors (plugged directly into an Oyaide R1 Beryllium AC outlet installed at the wall). The Flavor 4 helps to better provide the strong bottom end that Bryston power amplifiers are known for, in this case a customized stereo subwoofer application.
