I am planning on making a 38 foot power cord to power my Golden Ear Triton 2 speakers. The 2 speakers consume a total of about 5 amps. I have a separate dedicated line across the room from the stereo which I plan on using. I have been researching bulk power wire and have found the Cardas 3X10 10 gauge wire to be the least expensive at 16.29 a foot. Any alternatives to this cable that would be good for my use? I definitely want at least 10 gauge and I don't want silver. I already have the Furutech male plug and female IEC connector. This cable will plug into a Furutech e-tp60 power distribution block.
Obviously I am trying to get out of this as cheap as possible, as 38 feet of the Cardas cable will cost me around 600.00. Any recommendations on a different cable and a place to purchase?
