The Rega Reference Mains appears to be a take on the original Asylum Power Cord, but features a different power cable (looks like a LAPP product), while the AC connectors seem to be the same Pass & Seymour AC plug and Schurter IEC connector as the Asylum Power Cord. The essential difference between the Belden power cable implemented for the Asylum Power Cord and the particular power cable used for the Rega Reference Mains is the Belden power cable features a foil shield, whereas the Rega Reference Mains features a power cable with a tinned copper braided shield. That said, the two products will not perform the same, so they aren't interchangeable options to consider.
