I've been stating this for, well, 12 years. Back in 2003, when we originally acquired our Cable Cooker, we thought it was going to be a 1-and-done product. Au contraire. It has now been in pretty much constant use for 12 straight years. Really, the only times it has not been used were when it received a frequency sweep board, and when the binding posts were upgraded.
When not treating "high-end" cables, our Cooker treats the throwaway patchcords, powercords, speaker wire, and video coaxes. Whether the Cooker is treating these throwaway cords, or the car-priced products from MIT, Nordost, and Tara Labs, it works consistently.
Alan has now crafted adapters to treat USB cables. Now, if only he could come up with something to enable the Cooker to work on HDMI cables...
