RE: Purist Audio Design Aqueous Aureus Lumenist XLR

I have to say that I am suitably impressed. Each addition has brought a more complete audio picture to the table. The recent cable additions have actually expanded my soundstage. Each performer has a complete body, not just a sound coming out of mid-air.The drummer playing his cymbals is more clearly delineated along with his kit.The cymbals hang and you can hear the wave-fronts.This gives a very realistic reproduction and sounds more like what I hear from a "live" drummer.Bass is a little better, but just as tuneful and detailed. The ARC choir has grown in mass-more bodies, each delineated and maintaining their own space.I heard some "do-whapping going on in the lower frequency singers. Now there are three basses doing their own rhythm beat.
All-in-all ,an all -around improvement without needing to thicken up the harmonic structure. It would be as if the performers were balloons and they were filled up instead of collapsed. Each performer is more real, dimensional and the dynamic contrasts are greater-thus communicating more of the musicians musical intent and conveyance.
I am wondering about the PAD speaker cable and digital.Wondering whether these will further refine and solidify the aural happenings upon the stage.
Has anyone been able to compare PAD and BIS(maestro) IC cables??
As things progress,I will post more of my observations.
THX,Tom
