Inexpensive XLR interconnects

Hi,
I seek advices on 3m long XLR interconnects between my pre and power amp, which are ARC LS25/II and 100.2.
I now use RCA 'el cheapo' cables but I'd like to go balanced.
But cables are expensive and 3+3m are... even more expensive.
What cables would you suggest that can be satisfying but rather unexpensive ? Some bang for the bucks, if any ?
OK, Daniele, define 'expensive'. Well, I mean no more than say 300-350$ for the pair (preowned is ok).
