VH Audio Power Cable convert - Chris, you are a LEGEND

Just finished making one of Chris VenHaus power cable recepies (#1) for my Ayre QB9 DA converter and WOW, what a difference it has made to the sound.

I used to suffer from an uningaging sound presentation that was on the bright and edgy side with limited sound stage width. Basically, the sound was just not musical.

This I could not fix with interconnects or anything else I tried until now.

The VH power cord is not even broken in yet and the sound is already incredibly musical, engaging and much more dynamic. The bright edge has completely gone and is replaced with a fuller sweeter and more balanced sound. I hear A LOT MORE detail and decay in the background that was completely masked before and the sound stage has practically doubled in size.

Amazing considering I changed nothing else in my system and considering that I am useing the cheapest plugs available. I am using the Wattage Economy IEC plug and a standard grade (Australian ) power plug (can't get these in HiFi grade). Basically, all the improvement is due to the VH cable.

Chris, you are a LEGEND my friend.
