ChrisVH's DIY Fine Silver recipe

Hi ABliss,

See the link below for ChrisVH's recipe.

I've made them using 32ga Teflon-insulated fine silver wire sourced from A-M Systems and using Chris' cryo'ed cotton-insulated silver. I prefer Chris' cotton/silver wire to A-M Systems' Teflon-coated silver.

There's a link to both sources in his recipe page.

Note that using the teflon tube Chris mentions in the recipe makes for a fairly stiff interconnect. You may wish to use a more flexible core material, like ePFTE tubing or EPDM sponge cord. I do no have a source for either of those, but google should turn up something.

Also in the FWIW department, I construct a variant of this recipe using Chris' cotton/silver wire around a loosely woven cotton core, then wrapped in cotton gauze, and covered with Teflon TechFlex. The dielectric is most cotton & air. The sound (with the right RCAs) is gorgeous - liquid, detailed, full, and powerful.

Good luck!
